with every pitch that im doin every week, i tink i am gettin better at it. not only the pitch i may say, but the quality of my worx too. sans the sickly me, the non energize me at th end of the day. all that asides, im still all smiles.
attention yo, im the new media whore/advertising bitch! wahahaha.
ok lets not get too high-nosed here shall we, there are others out proclaimin they are the media whore when they cant even get a proper job! cmon, do u even need that piece of grey matter or ur supposedly highly-acclaimed piece of paper from the yoo-kay to pose for that cannot-make-it-shot on the mags? poor thing.
oh one more thing, at least aku sadar england aku berterabor, aku tak salah kan yg aku ni cacat ke, slow ke, tak kenal hurop ke. heh

it has only been my fifth day at the new place and ive learnt so much.
true enough, its a tough one. a very challenging job. i have heard how stressful it can be workin fer an advertising agency. of course it is true. coz ive never worked this hard before. the last five days was the busiest and the most productive period than all the time combined thruout my career. it was back to mounting the artwork on mountin boards. lots of spray mounts. double sided tape. remember those colour theory days small peepz? the cuttin board n such. i got back to doin those , even gettin refreshed lessons from my own art director on how to mount properly.
but never in the last five days did i complain or whine. the man didnt get any one of those depressing sms-es during office hours or even till the time i worked till 2am for two days.
why? great colleagues, freedom to express my creativity, better and challenging projects. bigger and worthy projects dat will definitely look good on my resume and portfolio. the environment is good and new. more opportunities to pitch to the clients in future. presentin my work proudly.
i love this. i juz hope the man will be more understanding. whenever he gets lonely at home.furthermore this happens only when we are pitching for a new project.not every week. its good money dear.they are giving me what i want and what i deserve. they believe i deserve that amount as i have the experiences, skills, creatives and that i have progress steadily since i started workin 3 yrs ago. im gonna prove those peepz that yes, i deserve this high pay i asked for.u will see my worx on the streets one day. this is wher ive always wanted to be. to do. im that one out of fifty they interviewed that they they think has the potential and skills to be doin that job. im sure others are screamin their lungs out for a chance at an advertising firm. who always gets the chance to be paid for what they love to do? your ambition. what uve always wanted to be since u were in sch. not many.
i saw my work on that board this morning and hearin the client sayin dat its good is such a satisfaction. appreciated. im blessed. Alhamdullilah.

after seeing so many multipliers posting up peeks of the fireworks thingee, i also jealous wanna put up those peeks. actually no niat wotsoever to put em up since i know everyone else in chink chia por pong pegi tgk boenga api and will tarok dlm blog. but i am one of those chink chia porean apa. so i follow suit. so here they are...went to esplanade on friday. as according to one of my galpals, Azlina, we were gonna watch the NEw Caledonia team fireworks. aku tak tau la. asal kan boenga api sudah. heh
i was there at 5 mins before the show started. because before that i was busy lingerie-shoppin wif my elektrik sista. i almost had to catch the fireworks alone amidst strangers at the marina square staircase pasal trapped ramai sgt org. but aku yg cengeng dan penakot dgn crowds ni went thru the sea of chink chia porean and finally found my friends in front of the river. dis one not so nice. towrds the end jek very nice. after the 12min show, we hang ard marina till late. which got me and arfan, one of my guy friends, a vair angry sms from Yati, the ferrin in the picture at 1am.
it read"aku belom sampai romah, bapak aku dah call. nex time when i say i wanna go home..i wanna go home ok!"
hhaha. arfan and myself were laughin our ass of when we read dat. anyway we had fun. especially when im wif these lovely guys. friends fer ten yrs. and still counting.

as u may have notice, one of the entries have been deleted. it has caused a stir. esp between me and my man. thanks to a very unsuspected lelaki. jadi lelaki tak bole kepo tau. juz keep ur mouth shut la lepas baca . ni nak pegi report2 dekat matayek org buat apa kan.
the man cant accept it that i can come up wif such atrocious writings as according to that particular lelaki. that the way i was dissing dat babe off was a major turn-off.
the man cakap i do not have a reason to diss her juz because i hate her looks or i hate the way she blogs(bimbo!)
ya la ok my bad. i was very mad at something else.not wif da mentioned gal. heh. jahat kan aku.tapi skrg kita dah tak marah2. i am accepting things the way they are now. that some things arent meant to be. it aint no ones fault. really. betol. kita ajek suka jumpin to conclusions. best fren kita dah cakap dgn kita. there are prolly very valid reasons why it happened. heh.

since the man has been earnin his big bucks, i do not have to worry abt my makan, my groceries and my shopping.
tapi i doubt my meagre freelance income can keep me thru fer 6 mths kan? wot wif the rent for this uptown apartment.heh.oh well, let me continue wif this lazy life fer just another month. by then, i will be tearin my hair apart. thinkin of wot to do wif the workin clothes. havin to do the laundry.
havin ben & jerry's at eleven am while workin on some malay website on the bed. haha

dah lama kaaaan tak update. almost a month!
anyway here is the slackers update.
have been selling grapes for the past few weeks. and more weeks to come of course. hey..but i am gettin some dough in ok. i am afterall the webmistress of a few very well-known sites.
oh well, the man got himself some weird rash and got himself a total of 4 mcs and plus 2 off days in that week, we found ourselves homebound the whole week!
we got into our grocery shopping mode. kalau bole satu mustafa tu kita nak borong. i finally played my first game of RISK wif the man. he was appalled! i conqured America & Europe!
we went to the library to get some cook books. decor books. crafts. comics.
we did out fair share of cookin too. masala rice. bbq chix. asparagus & egg tofu. the last one was some potato dish served wif garlic sauce!! niceness.slurp slurp.
we went around gettin cheap movie posters for like 5 bucks each. still have no idea where to put them all up. once up, i promise we will have the pics of our room up aye.
