here i am blogging for the ferst time from the new werkplace situated at 49, club street. go figure wot co. that is. :)
the pc at home at the moment is goin bollocks. hence, the short hiatus. plus the broadband connection is not available at the mo due to unforeseen circumstances (babusingh! PAY!).
did some little essential shoppin as usual over the weekend. zara,ROBINSONS' SALE! the ma'am muz bethe happiest wif her new brand-sek bag n shoes.ohhh..not forgettin the shawl.all especially for raya and the weekends jemputans. she is gonna be so wardina i tell u, so exquisite nyah..ye la..dari robinson la katakan. its dirt cheap i tell u. after they hacked down the prices.
and who can ferget the ever beautiful and awesome performance by the best fren for the LAW IV production of WHO?. gawd, she is the only one up ther who can actually sing n act very well. the rest were merely good actors but as singers, no one cant hold a candle to nura.
and the berthday parties.two of em.lulu's and azlina's.the burnin of meat on saturday nite. and the cutting of a the 200 buckeroos 5 kg swensen's ice cream cake on sunday evening. it was a feats.
burp.oops. the lunch they provide here is yummy.

the initial plan was to study,werk,travel,buy house,buy car,dun get married and then adopt a kid.
but dear mr lee hsien loong has open my eyes.heh. now i wan to start family. get married. get a like 2-3 kids. incentive dok. power. mindef and moe beckons, shud i answer the call? khekhe.5-day werkin week babe!
but then, blearrgh! i have wonderful projects lying fer me to take charge of in my wonderful career now. 2 great jobs in the line.
mr lee,does the 3 mths maternity leave applies to adoption cases?heh
anywae me married in the near future??? noway hozzay. i still hav newyork, germany and the caribbean waitin, i hav plans to travel wif my own hard-earned monies baby. not wif da help of the person call husband lor. khekhe.
but then again daddy has been saying this time and again

even tho the kopi & kretek session wif th k&k gals didnt werk out todae, i was pleased to hear the elektrik voice of poised over the phone . cuz seriously gua tak bedek gua windu sama lu. dah lama tak k&k , nak tanning pong tak jadi. eh korang tau tak tadi gua tgk wayang title die tribute to us k&K ladies? khekhe...lu org gi tgk bagos. gua betol2 relate to that story.
2 more days babes!! and i hav a very big assignment comin my way which definitely will be of benefit to u babes out there. khekhe... n im not talkin ab the benefits of the new job..its sumtin else. suspense sket eh. clue. juz one werd ar. magazine.

it was not one of the happenin saturdays..tho at the end of it i still get some lovin'.
but u noe wot..i guess we r juz fated to spend our saturdays togeda..if not the whole day..maybe juz a part of d day.
tak janji pong terserempak..sempak leypark2 plak tu.
so anudder one bites the dust.
all succumbs to dollars n cents or sense woteva make sense now (confusing i noe).
in big fonts for mr sarip dol potek.
encik dildol.be thankful for the oren.its a limited edition wif the extra chapters. so its a pricey one u noe. orang lain tak akan kasi lu gini mahal peh buku oookay!
counting da days to a berthday bbq partee. anudder berthday partay the nex day afte the bbq. hence i dun tink i can stay overnite miss lulu. a gig. a play. this im gonna catch, the best friend is in it, fer the ferst time as a maid.. n no..not a malay organized event. so im definitely goin.heh.
a wedding (akad nikah) ceremony. the ferst day at the new place. the ferst project. to the big paycheck.heh.

it was very much a very family-oriented soopa long weekend.
saturday howeva was spent shopping for the basic necessities for the trip. ended up at admiralty at kaveeta's at the end of the day juz to get a packet of mee goreng mama for the dad.
sunday started wif a very grand weddin of the sis-in- law's couzins. the favours were actually china treasure boxes tied wif pink ribbons. cute and ex. even the kids got themselves goodie bags full of chocolates and sweets. so halloweeeeen.
then off to SGH to visit the dengue-stricken buddy. poor thing. her hands were all swollen due to the endless injections and blood tranfusions she has to go thru. another extended week in the ward for her. got her the fave hot chocolate n yogurt, did crossword puzzles while nurses came to do the IV. prayin she will get well real soon for the upcoming reunion at a fren's birthday party.
in the evening , the whole family drove up to the padang for the oh-so magnificent firewerx. even got it all recorded , thanx to the new baby. heh. *grinz macam kerang busuk*
mum cudnt help tellin us stories of days when she used to go down to the padang for the same thing when she was young. she was surprised that it was still like the old days when she saw singaporeans all lazing on the grass waiting for the show. there was a massive traffic jam all the way from orchard to city hall area. vehicles stopped in front of the supreme court juz to catch the firewerx. everyone was in awed. the kids were the one enjoyin the most.running around, jumpin about. had late nite supper before we headed home and monday was of coz 'couch potato day'. the family herded to the sis's place for the charity shield. we ended up eating crap , talking crap, watchin crap (SINGAPORE IDOL) and i simply adore the main actor in that NEON telemovie on suria. he is so wholesome n cute. the way he talks, smile, walk, his goatee..hahahah..im in love wif a tv character. and the show wasnt even that good even tho they had a star-studded cast.

applause to najip ali fer bringin back the hype, nostalgia, the evergreen songs back to the boring tv screen. 80-an gerek is definitely GEREK!
fer the pilot episode, one of the singers actually sang dat BDB number! 'harapan setinggi gunung, berderai menjadi debu....'
power sak!! n my fave 80s male artiste, abg jay jay!! he is so evergreen young as well la dey. and wots under his bandana n caps man?? adakah sejak 80-an die dah membotak!?!

it was choking. rimas. at first we tot we were out of place. we WERE really out of place when we it strucked us as prolly a high society event. there were some beetle bugs junkie mats around , to see the dikir barat of coz. otha than that we juz dun get the kain songket and the extravagant dressing. its juz a freaking performance in a polytechnic! not victoria theatre. y are these people trying so hard to even widen the gap? its weird that we were at an event organised by the malays ( the educated ones ) for the malays and you definitely cud see a gap between the norms and the ones i called sheltered . and i was feeling all annoyyed and out of place.
all the la-la goin on. ive seen it all since i was at the alma-mater. and i didnt belong . i get all fidgety at these kind of functions. even normal bahas comps, camps, gatherings wotnots. even certain secondary sch reunion during raya kinda make me go all BLEARGH wif the non-stop bickering of
'oh u goin overseas?' 'yaa..i was at the camp, the one wif dr (insert some wellknown pensyarah here)' like cant they talk about anyting else? it is so FARAHISLINDA. DOUBLE BLEARGH.
remember my entry wher i dissed mendaki ? i guess thats the freakin reason y all these still exist. or maybe its juz me? i juz dun fit in lor. like a lost piece of jigsaw.
im juz glad i hav that handful of frens who are actually more talented and of coz intelligent than these farah species but humble little people whom i love.
anywae we ended wif good music at the end of the nite. :)

'ko tak nampak ke kita masak2?'
'mana ada? korang masak pukol brape? ar memang la...'
den i started mumbling ' im neva part of anytin wot' and i slammed the door.
ok...sorry fer washin the linens out.
this is wot ive been gettin lor. even when my niece was gonna nikah, i didn noe it till the day before. even when the whole family was goin away fer a holiday, i didn noe it until the day before they set off. aku tak tau ar. asal dorang macam gini. dorang ingat aku lagik kecik agaknye.budak kecik2 kat romah pon tau sak semlm ada kenduri.
naseb cam sial sak semlm. abeh tu kan ada GIG lah kat YOUTH PARK. the PRETTY BOY was performin his incubus cover. and i miss it. damn.
kalau die bilang ada kenduri, aku tak ya be among the FARAHs.
